Free Internet Training!

Solution and mouseOne of the problems with the lack of safety using the Internet is the education of the average Internet computer user. However, a solution is at hand. My friend Rick over at What’s On My PC blog has found a “really nice online training tutorial site that has a section totally devoted to computer skills. It’s called, GCFLearnFree.org.” Rick’s got a great blog that you should check out, and he’s always finding really cool stuff…which is usually free.

I went on to GCFLearnFree.org to check it out and found that the Internet Safety training (under the Internet Basics button) is really well done. I encourage all my readers to go there and take the training. It summarizes much of what I’ve been writing about for years, and it’s understandable and well written. Go…take the courses, learn to protect yourself.

Thanks, Rick for another great find.

As always, I appreciate your comments on this subject…so please do. And be careful out there…it’s extremely dangerous these days.

Don’t miss an article. If you enter your email address in the Email Subscriptions box on the right column of this page, I’ll send you an email when a new article is posted. I don’t share your email address with anyone…no one; I hate spam too. Please share my site with your friends and family. Thanks.

Home computing is a blast…keep it safe, productive and enjoyable.
