Internet Privacy: Hopeless?

Security cyberstalking eyeInternet security expert Bruce Schneier recently told CNN that “Internet privacy as dead as the proverbial doornail. Schneier says you can thank corporations and a government that are fiending for data, which the Internet exudes in copious amounts.”

I’m sure many of you may have seen the CNN show “The Internet is a surveillance state,” featuring Schneier. I believe he’s right in his pronouncement. And I place the loss of privacy on the Internet right up there with the Internet’s cyber crime activity. We all have the right to use the Internet and our computer to enjoy communicating, purchasing, recreation, researching, and general information gathering without being subjected to privacy theft, identity theft, and the theft of our money.
