Do you know where your teenager is–on the Internet? According to a McAfee survey of parents in Europe, most parents don’t have a clue about what their teens are up to with their computer use of the Web.
We’ve pointed out before that our teenagers are “digital natives”, meaning they have grown up using computers, and as such, are much more comfortable on the Internet than their parents. So it’s no wonder that the teens are visiting websites ; viewing videos; and searching for nude images or pornography; of which their parents wouldn’t approve. And that their parents think the teens are being good boys and girls using the Web.
