What If You Lost Your Smartphone?

SmartphoneIt’s a horrible thought, but what would you do if you lost your smartphone or mobile device? If you’re like me, I use it so much that I’d probably panic a little upon realizing that it’s gone. Then I’d start trying to remember what personally identifiable information is stored in it…then I’d really get to some serious worrying.

There are precautions you can take now and things you can do once it’s missing. The SANS Ouch Newsletter’s latest edition has a great article on this subject titled “Losing Your Mobile Device” I recommend you read it and take heed to its suggestions.

Be very careful…it’s dangerous out there.
