Five-minute Facebook Security Checkup

World map goldI’ve posted several articles in the past recommending to adjust your Facebook profile privacy settings to a more private stance. Here’s a “how to” article from www.cnet.com that lays it out very well—and with pictures too! Please read the instructions and then modify your Facebook profile…you and your computer will be safer using the Internet and Facebook if you do.

Five-minute Facebook security checkup – In just a few minutes you can tweak the social network’s default privacy settings to ensure you’re sharing posts and photos only with the friends you intend to share them with.

Reference: Also posted on Bill Mullins’ Blog…great minds really do think alike.

As always, I appreciate your comments on this subject…so please do. And be careful out there…it’s extremely dangerous these days.

Don’t miss an article. If you enter your email address in the Email Subscriptions box on the right column of this page, I’ll send you an email when a new article is posted. I don’t share your email address with anyone…no one; I hate spam too. Please share my site with your friends and family. Thanks.

Home computing is a blast…keep it safe, productive and enjoyable.

Best regards,

Paul
